    Portable 2 post lift

I too want to have a lift. This looks a bit scary to me. I see the cars sitting up there, but still doesn’t look as safe as a four post lift. Not cheap either

lying under cars is gonna be a thing of the past

Details? What brand? How much overhead required, floor minimum thickness, and AC requirements? Am aging out myself and this would be a certain garage upgrade. Thanks

Show your slant 6 a body!

This is my 72. Looks good from a distance, but I did repair all the wheel well rot with new steel. Could use upholstery on front seat, but overall nice more door. Have almost all my turbo parts for the 225. Bunch of car guys I know don’t understand “why I would want a 6 cylinder 4 door” But I...

When were you bitten by the car bug??

Shoot, Probably around 5 or 6 y/o. We had Tonkas Hotwheels, and model car Amt and whatnot. I thought it was so cool that a pile of parts could be turned into a car. (Ha ha still do) . I suggested at 10 years old when the family VW square back motor blew, that we “just get a motor for it” and do...

Bolt on Disk brake conversion for 66 Valiant

Hello, I too used the scarebird kit. About 10 years now. Used a duster m/cyl. If I recall , Chevy rotors, calipers and hoses, maybe not the “best “ way to swap to disc brake, as far as keeping it factory, but it works well, and I really have had no issues. This is a budget 4 door.

Wish I had it now, of course it was fixable. What did I know , I was a dopey kid. Bought a 46 Plymouth business coupe next for...
