Ran a 4 row 22" Champion when I first put my 440 into my Dart. Kept it cool. When I stroked it and upped the compression it couldn't keep up. Moved to 26" 2 row from cold case and it fixed my cooling issues.
Covercoft Custom Form-fit cover is the best indoor only cover I've seen/used personally. Came with my Viper and its perfect for keeping dust off the car. Purchased one for the 69 Charger and 04 Ram SRT and they both fit perfectly and look great.
I've had several CalCarCover out door covers...
Doesnt from what I've seen posted. Should be able to see some threads where guys damn near flatten some tubes to get things to fit even with a borgeson. I know I'm choking the motor off with the Schumaker Tri-Ys but its tight enough with even their tiny primaries.
I moved to the billet specialties housing and haven't had a leak or issue since. When I needed to change out the thermostat I wanted to change the o-ring just to be on the safe side. Summit wanted damn near the price of a housing just for the o-ring! Went to McMasterCarr and found the right...
And thats what A&A said as well. Thats why they want to hear back once the car is back on the ground and under its own power. I figure the hardest part for me with the car is getting the transmission out, not so much worried about rebuild cost or time to do the rebuild, its having to remove...
One last follow up before I parking lot this concern until after the brakes are on.
With the driveshaft still in the transmission but out of the rear I took a 2ish foot long prybar in the u-joint area on the driveshaft and was able to turn the transmission both ways (still really stiff in one...
No brakes on the car and when I removed the driveshaft the rear spun fine and the trans was still only rotating one way.
Called A&A as that was the rebuild kit and bolt in sprag I bought when I did the transmission in 2019/2020. They said based on the transmission working great for the 25-50...
Just noticed I forgot to link the thread I found on here with another person. I the same situation. Sounded like they had a washer that fell out while putting their transmission back together. Laptop I found that thread on is the in shop and I’m not going back out and seeing the gobs of work in...
Went to roll my big block powered dart today and it was VERY hard to move. I was able to push it forward no problem but the tires would squeal when backing up (smooth concrete floor old tires). Jacked the rear up and the tires would spin forward no problem but wont move AT ALL in reverse (just...
Not shocked there.... their tech support has been spotty since COVID... but thats kinda how most places have been. If you get a hold of a good person write that name down and ask for them by name. Did that with my Pro-Flo install.
It has to be a dead empty system. Don't go mixing refrigerants. There are conversion valves for sale as r1234yf take a different hook up. NOW.... converting is no way endorsed by any OEM or EPA BUT does it work... yes.
Where are you getting that r1234yf (idk where you're getting the c from ether) operates at a "much higher pressure"? It is true that r1234yf is more flammable than r134a.
Have you ever heard of google? Prob 100+ threads on this subject on this site alone. Loads doing it, you will have to move your spring perches inboard as well so that mean welding. Not an issue for most but is for others.
