Hey Joel. I don’t think you’re on Instagram, but I posted your 2 340 Specials on the swinger340specials page - lots of love, well over 120 likes and a number of comments. One comment was from Dave Rea (x of Graveyard Carz fame)... simply said ‘Sweet!’ Fun little FYI

1972 Canadian H-Code 340 Dart Swinger Special Resto - Finally started!

I'll hold it to you Marvin, haha. We were planning on visiting family in Switzerland, as my cousin lives in Birrhard, just a stones throw away from Schinznach, but with this world sh*t show called Covid19 happening, it probably won't be until next year. A few years ago I had the opportunity to...

Dan R said it was the best body of the '71 340 Specials he had seen, back then, so glad the bottom is still good... enjoy :)-

    1971 Dart Swinger 340 - a Canadian EH body

You got that all spot-on, CR-MOPAR. Yes, a unique version of the 18-20 built for Crestview Dodge in Regina and if some autobody guy has the time and resources to tackle it, that would be the only way it could be viable, monetarily, because you'd have to pay dearly for the hulk, then all the body...

anyone know how many 1971 Twisters were produced?

Thanks for the update. Just a couple more questions on it tho... was that car in the US or Canada? And was it close to you?

anyone know how many 1971 Twisters were produced?

Hey simopar, I'm sorry I didn't see the image of a fendertag you posted earlier, like almost 3 years, haha. Gotta love FABO, never gives you prompts. Anyway, it certainly shows the 'A51' Twister code and is stamped 'E55' and has an 'H' in the 6th spot in the VIN along with the VS29 meaning...

FABO member's 72 DART SWINGER 340 Special at MCACN show in Chicago

This time round it’s Geoff Stunkard at Mopar Action covering MCACN - but just hi-lighting 9 or so cars, and yup, you guessed it - we were one of ‘em!!! Too Cool.

FABO member's 72 DART SWINGER 340 Special at MCACN show in Chicago

FYI... a lot of you FABO members may be subscribers to Mopar Collectors Guide and may have seen the April issue - and yes, that damn blue princess made it into a feature there as well, haha. So, if you don't have your copy yet, they are on shelves for awhile yet, and here's what the article...

1972 Canadian H-Code 340 Dart Swinger Special Resto - Finally started!

Missing Linc... interesting and yes, if you could follow up somehow that would be awesome. So, as you thought it was a '71 version of one of these cars and being that it was blue, that would be a 'NEW ONE'. We have never found a '71 Blue 340 Special and would in all likelihood be a Crestview...

Hey, hey, hey Joel - glad to see you starting your '71 Crosstown Swinger 340 Special build string here - will be great seeing the progress and the in's and out's of these ultra rare little Western Canadian only order 'H' code Swingers. As everyone might know, the Swinger 340 was discontinued...
