Super easy install, they slide right in. Lots of prep work and make sure a good welder does the welding. Usually takes about 3-4 hours. If you don't have/aren't a good welder, do all the prep at home and take it to someone who is.

I would check your Idler and Pitman for wear, then look at the tie rod end links. After that, check UCA and LCA / Strut.

I've installed a couple of Borgeson units, each one had an issue, be it leaks, needing shimming or Pitman fitment. Never had an issue with Firm Feel units! I like the stage 2.

First paragraph was pretty spot on. You can have a shock that is tuned for your application with a tighter adjustment window (less guess work) or you can get a generic shock with broad range of adjustments leaving the user to play wheel of fortune with their shocks.
