funny enough, i was just looking into this too

slapper bars work, set them up correctly,

few frames in and off the line, car is settling down but still separating the rear leafs, tyres now hooked.

this is with snubber and no lakewoods the snubber does its job of raising the body as its hits which in turn pushes / forces / prevents the axle from twisting, so the snubber did its job...but.. as it raises the car it does manage to keep the front from transfering its weigh so in effect...

the front end IS important.....90/10 shocks, not adjustable ones, plain old 90/10's. once you have the rear set up, dont forget long mopar rear shocks or ranchos the front needs setting up the car needs to be level with the torsion bar about 1/2'' from the rubber stopper (top one) on both...

i ran lakewood slappers on my dart with sock heavy duty springs (clamped at the front and un clamped rear) car hooked and went :) better than with adj snubber only changed as i changed plans

the lesser diameter torsion bars will carry the same torsion as a larger bar....but its the energy is uses in torsional 'twist' is less, although they get to the same point in the end, the lesser size gets there quicker (in energy expulsion) hope this helps

the spacer i got was a 4 hole, but it was counter productive with a open base, as theres more angles for the fuel to travel, the 4 hole gives a better bottom end/ 60 foot, but i was looking for mid range. pointless now as iv screwed up the spacer, seems cutting the centre out has brought with...

iv just got a 2'' single hole phelonic spacer, which im going to add to the 1'' i have (so 3''total) on a M1 hi rise air gap manifold im after a bit more torque mid way (1/8) or there abouts running 28x9 slicks 750hp dp and 11.8 @ 112mph my guessing it will bog off the line, anyone...

Interesting, thanks guys So between 6 and 7.5, so if I set it at 7 then fine tune it on the dyno to get it optimum. I will report my findings :)
