Mike, flip back to page 2 of this thread and there's one of the tags with the E1 code on it. It stands for sales code 471, mandatory in California. Just looked at this guy's punch card, and it also has sales code 471.
Reviving an old thread. I run the 1966-67 Charger Registry (former owner of a mauve 1966 Barracuda, 1971 Dart Swinger and 1974 Dart Swinger) and am helping a guy with his 999 code 1966 Barracuda fender tag.
I have found four other fender tags online for 999 1966 Barracudas. All have the E1...
No bids and nobody watching so I'll post these here. Are they really that common? I forget if my '66 Barracuda had them but I know the '65 did. I assume '64 did too.
They screw into the backside of the trunk divider and support when the trunk divider is lowered...
Thanks! I forgot about bus freight. It is much cheaper.

I found a '66 Barracuda at the junk yard. The car had been rolled and the rear window is busted. I noticed on the passenger side under the back window there's a slit that looks like it is for a rear window defroster. Is that standard? There's no defroster down there. I thought it was...
I heard about this one on the local news. I feel bad for the guy. I think he had it parked outside in an alley at the time with the back end facing the street. I'm not sure if the '72 has a locking steering wheel or not, but it seems like it would have been easy enough to just lift the back end...
My '71 Swinger 225 has drums all around.
I didn't see any 10" option on the fender tag, so should I just assume that 9" were more common and that's what my car has?
I recently bought a '71 Swinger slant six. It's in very good shape. I noticed there are drain holes for the cowl near the hood hinges after you open the hood, but on my car they're plugged with lots of debris like pine needles. Is there an easy way to get up in there to get all of that out? I...
