The part number in the book is 3423562, but that wont be the casting number.
I have 2 Pacers, so I may have to pull a valve cover to find the casting number.
Yes, the VF Pacer had the same cam as the 160hp, more compression, and a larger exhaust.
The head was a different part number to the 145 hp and the 160 hp.
The pistons are the same part number for all.
About 25 years ago a friend turbo'd a Holden 202 six. It used the standard radiator and was fine.
You would only be in boost for 10 or 15 seconds at a time, and the other times it was like running a stock engine.
The Valiant Regal in my avatar was painted (sprayed) in cheap acrylic in 2004, didn't even use primer. Total cost was about $350.
It's shabby now, but is in the weather most of the time, and doesn't really get looked after.
I am going to paint it again soon, will do the dings a bit better...
