Geri

lifetime Mopar fan, racer since 1963 when I bought a new Plymouth SS426 savoy. I chose the Plymouth over the Dodge because it is 3"shorter wheelbase= less weight. I've raced several Mopars and mopowerd cars ,'63 SS Savoy ,'63 sport fury with 440, 64 plymouth with 440 then 426 Hemi, 70 cuda with hemi (yes I cut up a perfectly good 70 hemi cuda to race- and yes -I regret that. I raced a '69 dodge charger 500 hemi 4 speed, I raced a factory 1969 Cuda 440 -again not realizing its worth down the road. I raced a 41 Willys pickup with a 426 injected Hemi in mid 70's, a '62 Dodge dart hardtop SS clone,I built a '62 Dodge Dart station wagon -turned it into a 2 door hardtop wagan and of course- put a 426 SS hemi in it. I had a street willys with a blown ,injected duel plug 426 Hemi. I even built a street '37 Topolino with a --270 Dodge hemi. I now I have a replica 1965 AA/FD with a blown fuel 392 Hemi and yeh-I built that too.. as an FYI- the brand new '63 Plymouth SS 426 car was $2904.00 out the door.
