GHOST RUSTERS

Throw a dart at the state of California and I’ve probably lived and or worked there. I come from a long line of lumberjacks, gold prospectors and tree experts in the woods of Northern California.

I came out of highschool and into stand up comedy. I did that for a few years and worked labor jobs to pay the bills. I traveled to and worked in 32 states across the US and lived in Hawaii for about a year working on Ford Island, Pearl Harbor. I came back to the states and “learned how to learn” from various good, hard working men who took on father figures for me in life and I’ve never forgotten one of them.

Ive worked chainsaw repair, construction, paving, heavy equipment, garage auto mechanic work, towing, rigging, cranes, trains and anything with or without wheels.

I’m a Father, husband and mechanic in the Midwest oil fields of North Dakota. The coldest temp I ever experienced was the record breaking -70 in 2023, what’s it feel like? The same sensation as a sunburn but on your insides when you breathe… no amount of money invested in cold weather gear can stop it.

Having two little girls made me a better person. Marrying my wife helped to understand how I could be a better person. She keeps me very well fed, healthy and makes sure that I take my pills and that I don’t forget my coffee in the morning.

I collect Coast to Coast Stores antiques. My favorite show is The Waltons, we watch an episode every other night during dinner and my oldest even named her Elf on the Shelf “John Boy”.

My favorite quote is “not all treasure is silver and gold” -Jack Sparrow

I respect those who came before me and I listen when they speak. I’ll stay in my lane and you stay in yours, and if you end up on the side of the road with a flat or out of gas, I’ll do what I can to help and I expect the same. I teach my children to make every situation a positive one and to do something today that your future self will thank you for.

I’m currently working on reviving my dads 1965 Plymouth Barracuda with the help of some outstanding members here in the FABO. I’m happy and excited to have joined this community. Thanks for having me.
