Hello, I did see the ad for the '46 dodge and you probably were not referring to me but I am building a 1941. If a person is keeping the straight axle frame, the la mopar engine is a drop in and I would be happy to assist someone with advice or take a photo. A 70s d100 rear end drops right in too. The only gm part on my '41 is the alternator and that's how it will stay. Rustyhope.com offers disc brakes for the factory front axle as well. Good luck with the sale. Take care-
