I have been looking at factory reproduction door panels but cannot find any information on if they will fit a convertible or not. Can we convertible owners use the standard door panels? if not, does anybody know a manufacturer who offers them?

Does Chrysler provide keys for their classic vehicles if supplied the VIN number? When I bought my 1965 convertible, the only key I was presented with was an ignition key. The glove box is locked and I cannot get in it. Heck, I don’t even know what’s in there. I removed the lock from the trunk...

Thank you for the response. Yea, I thought it was odd that the mirror obviously has provisions for the rods but they are just nonexistent. I may attempt to add a rod when I get the interior redone if I am unable to locate some actual 1965 visors that have the rod.

Aren’t convertible visors supposed to have rods on the inner edge that latch into the slots in the rear view mirror? I come from the vintage Volkswagen world and this is the case with VW’s. My visors move all over the place while I’m driving and it’s driving me nuts.

That’s pretty sweet, is that a Holley progressive? I just need something to get me through the summer, this winter the car is coming apart for paint/ interior/ top/ v8 and 4 speed. I’ve rebuilt the carb and messed with it so much I’m just over it. I just want to drive the damn thing!

I’m looking for a refurbished to factory specs carter 1bbl for my 1965 valiant I so tired of screwing around with these old POS carbs I have. does anybody here do quality work refurbishing these carbs or know a reputable place/ person who does?

Yes, it’s on the bump stops now. I sourced the plates and bolts, just need to purchase them. I’ve been posting wanted ads for drop spindles to no avail. I might just shell out the cash for them for this summer but then I’ll be putting disk brakes, master cylinder... a bunch of work I don’t want...

Suspension is a work in progress, currently bagged in back and torsion bolts out in front (they were broken off and rusted solid when I bought it, had to death wheel the plates out) I have been big into the air cooled Vw scene my entire life. It’s funny, all my VW friends are all a body owners/...
