Pre purchase research is what I’m doing. Headed to look at it tomorrow, and the owner didn’t have details on how it transitioned from 273 to the 360 he says is in it now. Just trying to rule out if it was a 340.

Great start, I really appreciate it. I know pre-68 is incredibly confusing. My understanding is the 340 was late ‘67 year option for Formula S, and most would have been 273’s.

Looking at a 1967 Barracuda notchback, and could really use some help with fender tag. Been MoPar since before my 1st car, as my dad worked for Chrysler from ‘62-‘74. I’m confused over late ‘67 340 option vs the 273 in the Formula S cars.
