We just got a new Edelbrock RPM for my nephews 440 and it had the made in USA raised emblem on it. I was a bit disapointed that the Super Victor didn't.
The one I have did not limit as much as the slot showed. It limited it less than it said by like 3. if I recall exactly I was aiming for 16 and I am getting more like 19 out of the distributor. This was verified with a couple timing lights.
It's a great tuning piece though.
Yes that thought had came to me as well but I think there is a balance. You would want to give the estimate far enough out to not be pestered but not so far out that people decide not to order altogether. I think their estimates are based on some reality. I expect Trickflow got valves...
We got my brothers big block 240 heads a couple weeks ago and it was estimated for February. I called Trickflow a couple months ago and I was told they had some heads but the issue was they were waiting on the ferrea valves.
He said on the intakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkit lo
Thanks a lot. I wished I had bought as soon as I saw it the one he had posted about a week back. I know he just sold one that was modified for spread bore.
I sent him a message incase he has any more.
I would bet he means he installed it dot to dot and confirmed it was at the right cenerline with the degree wheel and didn't need to put it on a differnt location on the timing chain set.
Those springs may be your problem.
Last year we took my 72 Duster to the track

I am pretty sure the springs are the same as you got on the big block heads...
Nice cranking compression there. It's not a low compression engine.
I hope you get it sorted out. Those are some nice flowing heads. I would think what they said seems quite reasonable 625/625 area.
Not that I think it would make a big difference but I see you wrote that you set the lash at .016 cold as it should be at .018 hot. With aluminum heads at operating temp will grow by about 6 thousandths. I set mine at .012 so I can get .018 on my howards solid cam and it was confirmed to be...
Forgive my ignorance on this subject. My brother recently bought a 75 duster and it has 7 1/4 in it. Would this rearend be right for a 75? I found a list on here that lists rearend lengths and the 52 5/8 but only lists up through 72.
Also.. what would the shipping be to St Helens Oregon...
