It's headed to GYC

Mike Mancinis' guys did a bang up job on our 68 GTS dash,,,it was a complete and utter basket case (probably worse) when it started.

It is,,,it's my parents gts that we are getting done by them

It's called a sibley stove,, and yes, it goes into a sibley bell tent, and was made to fit underneath the tripod you see to the right, which held the centre support pole for the tent

Incredibly rare,,,,,in fact, it may be one of one lol

I do not have a Lorenz,,,,,,,,,,,,yet lol,,,,,,they seem pretty common so I've been holding out for a really nice one

The 34 star flag was for Kansas' admission into the Union in 1861,,and I admit, the guns are my favorite as well lol

My super double secret hobby is that I am a civil war collector,,,I keep it on the down low for a few reasons.

I tell people all the time,, it IS possible! I wish I could find my first charger,,,but I'll settle for finding my moms car,,, seeing her ball her eyes will be worth it

Thank you,,,I sure wish my moms gts never got sold but im still grateful I found it,,,and what a gem you have! That's gotta be one of best survivor stories, especially since you still have all that paperwork! I'm envious!

Not every restoration is done for resale value,, and ours is costing less than my ram pickup cost. I have no idea what Mark charges other folks,, but he was nowhere near that 80-100,000 number for us. No even close. Maybe using it for the show helped.

Yes,,Mark "introduced" our GTS last season,,got 99% of the backstory correct,, and it's well underway,,,it was in season 12 episode 12,,,,hopefully more to come this season
