Ok here we go. I have a 1961 170 slant six from a Dodge Lancer. My daughter and I rebuilt the motor, 904 tranny and are trying to squeeze it into a 1966 Plymouth Valiant that had a 170 from the factory that was long gone when we got it. My question is the 1961 170 was missing the original oil...

Hey out there, anyone have a side latch that lets the seats lock in place. Side mount that looks like a heavy duty c clip? Has to be drivers side. Send pic please Just wondering how much and shipping to 28117. thanks in advance. David

No I don't have a pic, but will be using the rotating rod linkage, I just need to see how the pedal stuff goes through the firewall, thanks for all the interest. David

It is a 170 slant six, was stock now Clifford dual 2 barrels, already have the lokar down shift and throttle cables but need to see the firewall stuff. Thanks

Hey anybody out there have a picture of a 66 gas pedal assembly against the firewall from the inside. My valiant came with drivers side floor board already welded unlike the other three that I have to do. But the person who did it just left the pedal on the floor. Dunno if anything is missing...

It turned out to be the ground wire. I replaced wires, terminals, and starter relay. cranks right up. Yippie. Thanks for all the help!!!!!

My 69 Dart just had the same thing. It turned out it was the ground wire at the battery. Is it cranking? Or dead? Gas and spark

yea I have a 50 amp jump box and not even a peep. no lights nothing...

I did clean and retighten terminals. when I turn the key it doesn't crank not even a sound. Now the dome light isn't even coming on anymore. starter relay? new cables and battery check tomorrow. dunno.
