my other question is will stock pushrods work to check valve clearance? i know solid rollers are slightly short compared to hydraulic no?

damn its been like 8 years since all this!!! motor ran well for about 3 months..then i lost #7 cam lobe for some un known reason... put a new cam in and its still running strong all these years laster!!! but man i have learned a lot and reading through some of this im surprised i ever got it...

I guess in hinsite I cold have kept my external balanced flex plate and just popped the weight off the converter.......correct?

its wrong for my application... the converter i have is 5/16 bolt...the one they pointed me too is 7/16
