    Jeep 4.0 in 69 Barracuda

Thats right. I think its also a single core radiator. My only concern would be how wide. Though I can open the area of the radiator in the barracuda, I am trying to avoid those kinds of changes. I have a 97 XJ, I bet I have a spare radiator to test with. When wheeling, its always a good...

Now I can install a factory 4.0L with No modification to the engine or the car. Just very expensive parts and minor fab work. To get engine installed.... Custom Transmission mount Custom Engine Mounts QA1 tube k-frame and suspension kit. Then of course fuel management whether you go carb or...

The new K-Frame and suspension kit from QA1. That solved the issue which caused the lack of space. Now I have a complete HDK suspension kit with NO car to put it in. Dang, now I need to buy another A-Body. :-D

Hello everyone, guess who's back..... And I have great news. It took some time to get myself motivated to move forward on this, with help from family and friends pushing me, Last weekend I installed the QA1 k-frame and steering rack from the kit for test fitment. I am super excited to say...

Happy Holidays to all. Santa has visited me early this year. I was able to buy the QA1 coil over conversion kit for the barracuda. The project is back on track. From the center of the engine to the outside edge of the starter motor is just under 9.5 inches. And from center of the engine to...

It was only 20yrs ago when you couldnt give a A-Body away. Now anything that is in good shape (aka road worthy) is starting at $8000 to $10000. I am surprised what $3k is finding. Poor enough condition that it should be stripped down and restored. In my opinion, no where near road worthy...

    Jeep 4.0 in 69 Barracuda

The only real option is to go with the Mustang 2 front steering rack style. And its a toss up between HDK coil over and QA1 Coil over. I really need to see both systems in a car and see which one will work. I want to favor HDK, Denny has been good to me. In the end, I need to go with the...

There is no good movement of the idler shaft. As it needs to be moved Up/Down to get out of the way of the starter. Moving down would be the easiest, which would put it in danger of impact under the car.

yeah, but if I could afford to buy another decent car, I would invest it in the barracuda build. That said, I may have found a 73 Duster with 318 and a 904 for a affordable cost of $3k.

I will take a break. Next I need to clean the garage and get the engine replacement work on my TDi Jetta done. Then free up the garage to move the Barracuda in. I will take this winter and look over it again.

Update: Alt and starter exchange is out of business, he still builds on the side but said he has no options. He recommended another local shop who has no options. I am pretty bummed. Almost ready to give up and build a fuel injected stroked super slant 6. Would be cheaper than another...

Power Master called back and has said they have no options for me. I have called some other places and struck out. I can not sell my suspension for enough to get close to purchasing a new suspension setup. My wife suggested buying another A-Body (73 Ply Duster) to use this suspension and...
