When I was in school, The state was repairing the highway. A guy was trying to out run the cops at night. He hit center of the blade of a D-8 bulldozer. He died and never nocked the mud off the tracks.

I would check to see if the computer shuts off the plugs after it starts. Sounds like the wiring is overheating. That's what happened to my skid steer.

How is the water heater acting? I used to repair gas water heaters. Does the pilot light stay lit? Most of the time the gas valve is not the problem. Could be either the magnet in the valve, the thermocouple or just a dirty pilot.

Try a dryer sheet in a spray bottle filled with water. Been using it for years on my motorcycle. Best ever
