i have a 74 plymouth scamp, and was wondering if anyone knew what donors cars i may look for that would have a ford 9 inch rear that would fit my car. Drop in would be nice, but ill take as close as i can get.

so with a ford 9 inch what eles do i have to get besides the rear? and what models could i scavenge one from that would fit my car without modifying?

i have not taken it apart, trying to avaoid that

should thye not all come with the same plate from the factory for that model year?

what is the max mechanical advance from a stock 74 318 scamp distributor?

where can i get those from? can i just order one

i taught it should be pointing at 1? the dizzy is sloted it only goes in two ways, how could i be a couple off? wouldnt it be right or 180 off?

so my plan of action is to go buy a stock dizzy, and put it on with 18* base untill i can learn enought o adjust the mopar one correctly.

i did plug both the carb, and the dizzys vac ports when checking it. i am using the vac port on the front passenger side of the carb. its a new rebuild with less than 500 miles. it worked fine before the mopar performance dizzy and orange ecu, so i doubt it skipped timing. i think(and...

it was kinda hard to see because of the gas tank. but it had 9 bolts so i assume that means its the 7 1/4

whats not cheap? 1k, 2k. 2k wouldnt hurt my feelings, 5, or 6k would.

i am not sure what is in it now. whatever was stock. i think the gears are 273.
