    Well it turned out to be the solenoid/relay that was only about five months old. Can you believe this!?!?!?

    Well gentlemen all that and the issue is still present. I got everything back together, went to re-connect the negative on the cable and though the key was off the starter wanted to turn. Now would I go solenoid?

    You know guys let me describe what happened so I can get some further input. My ignition lock cylinder is definitely loose so it needs replacing. But this all came about when turning my car on last week and it got stuck "starting". No matter how I turned the key back it just kept turning...

    Commuter Car

    It's the SE model with the 2.5 liter four cylinder. You put that behind a six speed transmission and this commuter car moves very well. I am pleasantly surprised with the layout of the interior and the ergonomics in this machine. I think this car is going to last us a very long time.

    Well guys my old Lincoln Mark 7 is becoming so problematic that it's time to purchase a "new" car. Through my bank I want to purchase a good commuter car in the price range of 10 to 12 grand. Give me some good cars that would fit the bill. Perhaps your own personal experiences?

    Well I shot them an e-mail and they quoted me $175 which includes parts, labor, and a one year warranty.

    Well gentlemen I installed a new cable and a speedometer from a donor car I thought was functioning okay. All that time and the speedo is twenty miles per hour too fast and bounces violently at low speeds. Do you guys know of a good speedometer rebuilder?
