I like using a chain, I used a plate once but also used a safety chain. Nothing wrong with a little extra safety.

If you're going to mess with it make sure you center the wheels in the wheel wells. Those factory a body jobs are almost always off.

Everything has doubled or more in the last few years. BULL ****. I'll go looking for something I can make work before I buy anything anymore.

This isn't for the haze but I wash mine with 91% alcohol once or twice and take a new razor blade over the entire glass and wash again once or twice with the alcohol and wax it. It comes out real nice. ps don't use a blade on rear window defroster lines. lol
