Trick Flow 190 Heads, hydraulic roller cam, and pushrod angle Question.

I did place a flat tappet lifter and then compared with both the trick flow head and an x head. The lifter height is definitely a main driver into the geometry. I will be calling B3 tomorrow to see what options might be out there

Trick Flow 190 Heads, hydraulic roller cam, and pushrod angle Question.

In your opinion, other than the looking bad, am I at risk of damaging or failure if I continue the build like this?

Trick Flow 190 Heads, hydraulic roller cam, and pushrod angle Question.

I tried them both ways, same results Just took this picture as they sat, so yeah they are facing backwards and the pushrod sits centered on the lifter. Both rollers are sitting on the cam with no lift. Using lunati lifters: 72337-16

My research is showing the same. I suppose it will come down to $$. I’m planning a solid bottom end - all forged. The block didn’t come with any extras so I will have to procure everything. If I can get by with an inexpensive rebuild on the heads and make due for the first year and then...
