Thanks for posting this. My head is spinning on what trans to convert to. I have a automatic now and want to do a complete switch to manual and I am leaning towards a T56.
Good job on rebuilding the unit! I have done a few and it is a pain in the a$$ sometimes to get the holes to line up...
O.K. These next photos are from my phone. I forgot my good camera the last few weeks so I hope these look alright.
I had a ton of trouble fitting the lower control arms to the K frame. I also have a issue with CAP from these arms. They said "ready" to bolt in? I had to grind a large...
i wish I got pics of the '68 I'm working on. Its a black GT with red interior, all original. The problem with the red in this car is that is does fade. (not to pink in this case) but if you replace one red piece (door panel, bucket seat etc.) is that it won't match up and now you have to...
I just got my coil overs in from Magnumforce. They were a big help on the phone and matched a spring up for my road race set up. You have to assemble them when they come in so you will need access to a spring compressor.

I wanted to see if anyone has ever installed these on your factory K frame. I have the instructions and it says "may" require grinding to the K frame. Well I have been grinding and grinding. The arm is in and still doesnt have full travel because more metal needs to be removed. I attempted...
I see in your pic you have a wiring harness drapped over the 5.7 Hemi but you quote in your future expenses that a MOPAR harness is $4500. If you cant use this one on the engine cant you just get another junkyard harness and ECM? I would really hate to see you spend that kind of money on a...
Next week I will be starting to fab my own upper control arms to fit the coil overs from Magnumforce. Also going up front is 2" drop spindles from Magnumforce and Tubular lowers for coil over conversion from CAP. A 1967 440 with 915 heads (if Edlebrock is out of budget) is waiting for tear...
That K member actually looks better in the photos that what a started out with. I soaked it with PURPLE POWER from Wal-mart and pressure washed it before those pics. It was filled inside with sand and walnuts!
If you have any thing you need cleaned on an industrial level get PURLPLE POWER...
