Slant 6 Header clearance for manual trans

Thanks guys. I ended up ordering the Clifford Shorties with the x-pipe. I considered the Aussie Speed headers but I'm not taking anymore chances. Only because I've heard that some of the Aussie Stuff may or may not clear the steering box for left hand drive. I just want this portion of my...

Slant 6 Header clearance for manual trans

I've got a '67 Valiant with a manual trans. I'm wanting to install long tube two piece headers but the space between the z-bar & the tie-rod is really small. Almost all of the Clifford long tubes that I've found are for automatic transmissions. I don't want to spend the $ for Hookers then only...

    3spd manual floorshift

So if I were to swap out my A-903 column shift to a A-833 4spd or A-230 3spd other than the bellhousing, throwout bearing, and floor hump what else will need to be modified or changed. Clutch, flywheel, driveshaft etc? Not too mention what part is or isn't going to match up to a '67 Slant 6 block?

    3spd manual floorshift

Does a 4spd floor hump need to be used for the A-230 3spd manual floor shift trans?

    Manual 3spd column to floor

Thanks guys. As of yesterday I found a complete / working 3spd manual with floor shift & bellhousing that I will be installing soon. The price was right and I could not pass it up.

    Manual 3spd column to floor

Thanks. Yes it is a slant6 with the 903. I'm hoping to convert to 4 spd but I'm not sure when that will be.

    Manual 3spd column to floor

I've got a '67 Valiant with a manual 3spd on the column. It works great but I want to move it to the floor. I wanted to go aftermarket but the only thing I can find available is the Hurst Indy SSA. I'm told by some that the Hurst is troublesome. Then I'm told by someone else that Hurst is...

    '67 Valiant 100

This is my '67 Plymouth Valiant. I had one as my 1st car over 20 yrs ago and it's nice to have another one again. It has 48,000 mostly original miles & documented. I purchased it locally here in the Pac NW just a few months ago. I've done a few things and I plan to do a lot more. In the meantime...

In 1989 I bought my very 1st car at the age of 17. It was a '67 Valiant 100. It was your typical condition daily driven a-body. In a few short months my dad and I had turned into a restomod and it became a great car. It was dependable and indestructable. I sold it a little over 15 yrs ago and...
