Thanks for the response, Yes I have had the drivers header in and out several times. The very tight engine compartment as well as the tight construction of the header itself leaves no room for the cable to go anywhere else but through the header to where it would be in contact at some point...
I have a 64 Valiant and in the process of installing Doug's Headers. I am at the point where I'm not sure how or where the cable from the Pushbuttons should be routed.:(
Has anyone done this set up? Any information or pics would be most appreciated.

I was invited to the 64 invitational last year with my 64 Valiant Rag Top.
It is a wonderful show with so many cars from all over the world its mind boggling.
If your daughters car is being judged all I can say is spend a week cleaning top to bottom
including the wheel well lips and inside...
I do have a new set I was going to put a 318 in my 64 Valiant but went with a 360 instead. Im not sure so you may want to research it to see if they will work for you.

I recently picked up a rebult 360. I was looking at the engine-stamping number on he drivers side,front of the block just below the head surface.
The numbers are 9W630 6651. I tried to identify these but it appears the engine series may have been stamped wrong as well as missing special...
