Left hand lug nuts are back, baby!

Ive seen the Chrysler engineering video that someone posted 15+ years ago, but I couldn’t find it years later when searching for it. It’s not about properly torqued lug nuts, it’s about under torqued or lug nuts that are left loose. They will continue to loosen on the left side with R/H thread...

Left hand lug nuts are back, baby!

But when they do most are on the left side. Every time I've seen a trailer loose a wheel it's been on the left side. Also aren't ring gear bolts still L/H?

    '57 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer

Back then, there was a theme, Dodge named their stuff after royalty. Custom Royal Lancer had a knights head emblem with a jousting lance. Coronet means a crown that a prince wears. Plymouth named their line-up after New York hotels...Plaza, Savoy, Belvedere.

    Rookie mistake.....need help

They still use L/H threads on one side of bicycle pedals for the same reason. Same with ring gear bolts in your cars 3rd member. The engineering is sound, lots of other auto makers did it in the early years too, Mopar was the last hold out.

    Say What - 196 Days

I also placed an order in December when they had their sale. I got the door panels in April I think, and didn't get the seat covers until the middle of June.

    What rear is this?

Measure the tubes. 7 1/4 have 2 1/2” tubes. When swapping to 8 3/4, 9 1/4”, etc, you have to have bigger u-bolts and spring perches as they have 3” tubes.

They're oxygen tanks, still used today on some military planes. Holds up to 450 PSI.

    Light Air Tank

I use an old freon tank, it's light weight too. They make conversion kits for them. I remember the kit being less than $10. Pic is just one I got off the internet. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FKPN5M/?tag=fabo03-20

    rebuilding a lower door hinge?

lowers don't have bushings, so the easiest way to rebuild is to oversize the pins. The kit from restorick works great and comes with new springs which are always worn. Restorations by Rick Kreuziger - Product and Component Restoration Detailed Information

Here you go......seriously, I'd leave those wheels on there. '57 Lancer hubcaps are desirable and sought after.
