Have owned this V-200 since 1997 and never driven it! Had a seized 170 slant six (original engine, froze up during storage from 1983-1997) that NOTHING would un-seize. Began restoration in 2000 and then life got in the way. Now, with recent acquisition of a ‘60 V-100 parts car, I am ready to finally tackle this! I am a Saab guy originally and own a ‘71 95 wagon and a ‘71 96 sedan (my first car). I’m also a devoted MoPar guy, specifically Jeeps. I have two XJ Cherokees (both ‘98s) and a ‘02 TJ Wrangler (my first new car which is now not new at all, but still looks new since it is summer only!) Also a ‘01 Audi Allroad Quattro and a ‘81 VW Rabbit Convertible. Saab and Chrysler had an exchange thing going on in the early ‘60s. We shipped Valiants to Sweden and they shipped Saabs to the US. Kinda ties my weird story together.... kinda. I am used to welding and reinforcing unibody cars as all my cars (except the Wrangler) are unibody and live in salty Buffalo NY and I refuse to let them die. I love inline (and slant) six engines. Never owned a V8. But I do own two V4s and a V6 as well. One of my V4s has a cross ram manifold (like the 413 which I also love and hope to own one day, in a B-body Dart of course) and dual side draft Weber 40 DCOEs. I have the guts of a ‘71 Dart Swinger to go in the V-200 (225 slant rebuilt with super six 2-barrel manifold and Holley carb, and I also have the 8.75” axle with super sport springs which I may or may not install.)
