I have a reverse manual in my 69 cuda with a 470 that is my daily driver. I would have it no other way. It's like being in the game pole position every day. Makes the drive to and from work actually fun.
I like what you did for added support, and I think I will add a welded-in psudo roll bar that reaches up to just under the package tray as a means to better stabilize the shoulder belts. Being a novice welder is definately my weaness in design, great job with the rear belts.
I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of my rear seatbelt set up. But I remembered now how I did it. I bolted the seatbelt retractors to the reinforced factory lap belt hold down the floor (this took a longer grade 8 fine bolt). The shoulder belt head went up and through the “slits” in the...
I think I got the retractors from one of the many seat belt suppliers that are online, so nothing special there. I think that on both far sides of the package tray there are factory "slits" for the seatbelts and I then cut a third "slit" for the middle belt. I'm going to my shed tomorrow and I...
I have a notch and I did 3 rear shoulder belts. I hope the picture comes through. The retractors are on the underside of the package tray which I reinforced with a large piece of thicker alum under each retractor. The shoulder belt is the stabilized under the factor seat belt buckle location...
I will look into all those things you guys mentioned. With the last rake pictured I don't even think he would need a pump, gravity fed to carb.
You guys have been helpful, thank you.
I have an in tank aeromotive phatom 340 in Hot Rod Garage's A body tank which is fairly well baffled. My system is Fast Man EZ EFI. The rake of my car is flat protouring, not *** in the air. I was wondering that with my lack of rake angle that my pickup sock my not be in the lowest region of...
I know the title is long but it had to be.
I have a Hot Rod City garage AL tank in my protouring 69 Cuda. I finally got it to that point of being a daily driver but I have been unable to get fuel gauge to work closer than being 1/4 tank off. That doesn't concern me as much as I'm not able to...
One last time to all For A body Mopar members: can someone shoot a picture of your 67-69 Barracuda notchback rear belt line molding (of course while it is in place on your car). I would be even OK with a fastback picture.
