    Leaf spring help

If you don’t mind spending the extra, a solution is to buy front hangers with adjustment holes, Mancini do a 2hole version which is stock and minus 1” and Uncle Brian’s Speed Shop does a 3 hole version which offers just shy of minus 2” lowering in total. I bought ESPO plus 1” springs for my...

    espo, bad news for some.

Thank you Laura, you helped me get my springs for my Barracuda over here in the UK. Sorry to hear you won’t be doing the leaf springs anymore, but I’m sure these hundreds of cars out there with them on.

These are offset and adjustable, he also does standard with adjustment.

    Leaf spring recommendations

Adding my 2 cents for ESPO, went with +1 on my Barracuda, only thing I’d add is consider buying adjustable front spring hangers from Mancini or Uncle Brian’s. I’m glad I did, the car sat just too high for me when I put the new springs on, but lifting them by one hole on the hangers (there’s 3 in...

    Leaf spring question

If you decide to get new springs, especially if you order them with plus 1 or 2” it might be worth ordering a set of adjustable front hangers to go with them. I ordered plus 1” springs from ESPO and the combination of new springs and the extra inch set the back end up a lot higher than I wanted...

Dave where did you get all this info? It’s fascinating and depressing how much the big big 3 down under produced at their peak, it definitely wasn’t just knock down kits. The story of how they developed the Charger o a minuscule budget, I was reading about the P76 Leyland and the plans they had...

As the Vietnamese taxi driver said to me in Sydney, “you English are stupid, you sent your criminals to paradise and you all stayed in England.” He fell asleep twice driving at speed down the Anzac Parade!

Well it’s a bit rude, but basically Seppo or Septic as in Septic tank - Yank. When the guys in the factory would give me a hard time and ask if I minded being called a Pom I’d say no as long as they didn’t mind me calling them a bunch of bread thieves or Skippies (Skippy the Kangaroo)...

He must consider you a good mate then. Although if you’re American and he’s Aussie I’m surprised he doesn’t call you a Seppo!

I think you rather politely skirted round the fact that for a long time they were called " Wog Chariots" - Western Oriental Gentleman being an Aussie term for people from the Mediterranean and Middle East. Like many things in Australia it could be used as an insult or a term of affection. I have...

I think maybe the Aus heater box would have been local? So the blower motor is as you circled it. The heater box I’ve got with the barracuda (not in the car) has the motor in the centre where the oil filter would be on the VG.
