    Hi Folks, Looking for a 360 block in the Seattle area. Don't have to be pretty. Just not rusted shut or at least machinable back to useable. Wanting to do a 408 for the scamp. Have a 318 x block with flat tops in it I'm happy to trade.

    Went hunting fast for a replacement booster at all the part house websites... they look to be indefinitely out of stock most places? Does anyone know where you can get one if that is the problem?

    Pulling it back up with my foot may be giving me a placebo effect kind of reaction if I’m honest. It seems to help. But I’m also trying to give throttle at the same time so it may just be a coincidence on that side. I’ll try the vacuum plug and see what I get.

    “The Dr’s guide to optimizing your ignition” haven’t cracked my copy open yet. Started with the A engine book. But supposedly it’s the last word in electronic ignition as we know it in our cars. Or so I’m told.

    I’ve been told that. I’m excited to dig into this stuff for sure. I’d like to think I halfway know my way around under the hood but I can always learn. And having stuff like his book is awesome because you just can’t find that kind of stuff anymore.

    After driving the Scamp to work yesterday, my shop foreman professed his former love of all things Mopar and bestowed this haul of technical knowledge as well As a sweet Holley jet kit on me for 40 bucks! Can’t complain.
