The earliest SPD I have registered is a BH23H 2/27/67. They start rolling out after that pretty steadily. I have one I purchased from original owner. He purchased it in early December 1966. The spd on it is 3/28/67 and IBM is same. He took delivery about a week later.
Took my 67 fastback to the scales awhile ago, it was a little north of 3,250 lbs with my 160 lb self and nearly a full tank of gas. It's a small block with 4-spd.
Bill if you want come down to happy valley (SE Portland) I'd be happy to help you out. I have switches et.al here. Plus a few you can look at.. I'll send you contact via PM.
what corner? on the outside of the bezel 67 had one at bottom corner in the black, and 68 had 2 in the black the same lower corner and one about midway.
there are no kits with 3-step metering rods, only the 2-step rods. The only thing I can think of would be to figure out the steps on the current and figure where you need want to go - shop for 3 steps from there, they are out there if you look.
I don't see an ecu connector, but do see dual field alt connector. The bulkhead connector is different from 70 A or B-body. So 70-72 E-body, 71-72 b-body. Truck? out of my scope but possible I suppose. I do see what you're saying about PN# though on ebay. There is also a 70-71 truck engine...
I couldn't find it either gun. I could probably get it nailed down by seeing it and its connectors... is the lighting and engine together or separate.. etc
