    Starter not engaging sometimes

Actually went under the car to look at the starter gear while someone turned the key and I was wrong. The gear extends and engages with the ring gear every time. What happens is 1 time outta 10 the starter extends and engages the ring gear but looks like it freezes up and makes a grinding noise...

    Starter not engaging sometimes

I recently acquired a 340 4 speed Demon in the summer of last year. Since I've had it has had an issue where the starter will not engage fully and grind a bit but then will engage on the next try. This happens maybe 1 out of every 10 times I turn the key. I took a look at the starter today to...

[WANTED] Rallye Dash tach (71 Demon)

I am also open to finding an OE tach and having it rebuilt so I will let you know if I do.

[WANTED] Rallye Dash tach (71 Demon)

Unfortunately I don't have the original tach. At some point a PO swapped out the bezel with a 1970 bezel (has the cigarette lighter in the bezel and the radio section cut out). Currently it has the blank where the tach should be (a tach is on my build sheet at least). I bought one of the...

[WANTED] Rallye Dash tach (71 Demon)

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has one of the reproduction Rallye dash tachometers (pic below for reference) in good working condition they would part with. They seem to be sold out or on back order everywhere (Classic, Charger Specialties, Herbs Parts..)...

Do I have the correct bucket seats? 1971 Demon 340

Thank you all for your feedback! Does anyone have any opinion or experience with seat covers from PG Classics? They have the black rear seat covers (not black/charcoal) https://pgclassic.com/products/6601-buk-c

Do I have the correct bucket seats? 1971 Demon 340

I think that is what I'm going to end up doing this week. I'd love to have the charcoal black but $ is always a factor plus the bucket seats are really nice and it seems like a bit a shame to recover them.

Do I have the correct bucket seats? 1971 Demon 340

Well my upper door panels are painted gloss black (as well as the dash) which I guess is what they decided to do when they restored it. This is "the" car I've always wanted so some day I will gut the entire interior and repaint it.

Do I have the correct bucket seats? 1971 Demon 340

Interesting... If I was going to guess I'd say my bucket seats were recovered at some point since they are in way too good of shape but I guess I might never know for certain. I'll get in contact with the guy I bought it from and see if he can give me some more info about the interior If he...

Do I have the correct bucket seats? 1971 Demon 340

Cool thanks, I'm guessing someone must have recovered the buckets at some point with covers from someone other than Legendary (they are in really good shape). So now I need to decide is it worth recovering both or the cheaper option of the custom black rear seat.

Do I have the correct bucket seats? 1971 Demon 340

So right now in my 71 Demon I have the wrong rear seat. It is a bucket seat car "C55". I might have a lead on a seat frame for a Duster that should be correct but would need new covers. So I want to order legendary covers asap as I know they take 8 months to ship out. The problem I am having...

[WANTED] 1971 Demon/Duster rear sear frame

Sorry guys I should have specified I'm in Northern Illinois so probably too expensive to ship but I'd be willing to drive 6 hours or so.
