    DuraBlocks or simular

Funding is tight. Start a new job on monday. But I like to be inventive too. I'm building my own sandblasting cabinet. So I wanted to see if I could do these too.

    DuraBlocks or simular

Is there a way to make these at home? Seems like a lot of money for a piece of rubber. Joanne

    Question About Sanding

I couldn't afford to have everything done. The car has been sitting in a field a long time. Extensive work. I like the idea of being hands on at every aspect. Helps me learn. I have the plywood, long steel L brackets to go around every seam for reenforcement. The inside shelf, the blaster...

Thanks. That is exactly what I needed to know. Plain and simple yes or no and why. I will go to Car Parts and get the degreaser there. They sell all kinds of autobody stuff. Or so I am told. Haven't been there yet. Time to take a trip. I have another question. I am going to build my own...

    Question About Sanding

A wax/grease remover. Would the purple degreaser sold in the automotive department in walmart work? It is used from everything from housecleaning to engine cleaning. Just depends on concentration of the degreaser.

    Viet Nam Vet

Give your brother a hug for me. My dad didn't make it back. I was 4, my sister 2, and my brother 4 months when he died. My husband just got back from Kuwait. He is in the Air National Guard as a mechanic and my son is a medic in the ANG. My son wants to go to Iraq to help out there. I, being a...

    Question About Sanding

Thanks all. We have one of those small blasters with the hopper on top. We also have two air compressors but they aren't that big. They might do for blasting though. And we have the blasting gun for the compressors. I wouldn't use them for painting because of the drying time. I'd be afraid that...

Hello All, I am sanding the 68 cuda (keep in mind that I have no clue what I am doing. So I am taking everything one step at a time. So I am working on the underside of the trunk lid. There is a lot of filler or sealer along the edge seal where the front metal overlaps the back metal. I...

Sounds like heaven. Especially now since I have my own project to do. Before it was just my husband's 68 cuda. That is the one I am practicing body work on. So far, it is still only in the stripping stage. Which reminds me, I have to go sand the trunk now. july is sooo far away. Know of any...

    Carlisle?

Thank you Chuck. I have not read anything of anyone else changing cars from one year to another. Everyone talks about clone 340's from 318's but nothing about years. Thanks for setting this straight for me. Joanne
