My 1st 1965 Formula S I looked at in 1974 and eventually bought about 1976 had a 4sp and 8 3/4 - I still have the fender tag along with a lot of the parts from it - it had the side swiped as it sat out on the street. My current 1965 S 4 sp is a Feb build with a 7 1/4 posi. Parted a 1966 auto S...
Sadly one reason I got rid of my matching # 1968 Formula S as a roller - could not fine quarter panels in the 80's and my right side was caved in from bumper to door.
Yep seemed to have that set up in a early Cuda....a 1964 with factory A/C that a clutch fan that was put on there at some point trying to keep it cool. Re-did the heads for the guy to unleaded style and that worked pretty good....stop and go traffic getting into the upper 90's was still tuff.
Yep....a picture from the owner might help.....as far as a LA273 and a LA318 a quick look at the intake which will be almost flat on a 273 and a 318 will have more of a rise....if you can't see any #'s.....
Being inside tells you something.....and a carport? Might be a good deal.....and my story - I saw a 1966 mopar on CL from down Houston way and already knew what those area's cars looked like but this one seams or looked to be okay.....get down there to look and dang if it isn't from Kansas....
