I had a three-core radiator done for $100.00, in 1976. LOL I say find a set of good 22' tanks and have them recorded. An AC car should have 3 core tanks. Look in Florida, where are the AC cars were sent back then.
I had a different issue. Had a set of Appliance headers back in the 70's, that had a reduction cone to 2", but I want a full 2.5 exhaust to the rear. I threw the cone in the trash and had a local shop weld the 4 bolt flange to the head pipe, to the rear. Now I had a full 2.5 exhaust and it was...
The problem is it is also for a 440 and 426 Hemi. Going to be expensive. Unless you are number matching, I'll look for a small block radiator that is also 22".

I don't think the total length is as important as the spring perches would be. Get a measurement, grind them off and move them into the correct locations and weld then back on the tubes. It may even help for tire clearance.
It has the 67' 273 valve covers, so someone tried to make it look like a 273. First thing I would do before driving it is, change the thermostat housing. Those chrome ones always leak.

That is the one I have, low profile 3 ton aluminum, costs around $180. Had it for 5 years and picks the front end of my 2500 Cummins Truck with no problem. Had two Lincons and the seals go out after a couple years.
My book says the block is a 318, race engine, around 77'-78'. The heads appear to be the same time frame. Should be painted orange, which surprises me, because most engines were blue or black back then.
A true statement. Some people "LOVE" the thrill of dangerous hobbies. Any kind of racing, sky diving, boxing or any other hard sports. Many die or are injured in NASCAR. Indy or even your local Roundy, rounds. It's a chance you take to have your personal run. Driving on the interstate is a...
