Spiffy radiator. My Cuda doesn't have any of the original under hood bits and, because I used a mechanic who seems not to know much about building engines, doesn't have a whole lot of power either. Not being much of a mechanic I actually wanted to try to replace this myself - to teach myself...
Okay, interesting. I was told (by a general mechanic) that (1) an aluminum is more efficient in cooling and a 2 core would be similar to a 4 core brass. (2) that I had vertical flow and should stick with that. I assume what he's talking about is the way the pipes of the radiator run, yes...
Hello Gang,
I have a 68 Cuda with a now very leaky 3 core brass radiator. I believe it was the original when the engine was a slant 6. Now that I'm running a 360 (and I live in Texas) I thought i worthwhile to upgrade to an Aluminum one.
Can anyone help me understand if this (see link)...
Unfortunately these are the only two the photographer shared with me. Suppose that's no excuse as to why I haven't gone out and snapped a few pics.
I am still having the perplexing issue that the metal finish (the thin trim) along the top of the trunk doesn't fit. That is, I've bought the...
95% completed my restoration. I say that realizing how futile the last 5% is. Anyhow, this photo was taken for an article coming out on my new company soon and I thought I would share the progress.
Wow, that's in great shape. Wish my 68 Cuda had been half that nice. Good luck. If I hadn't already mortgaged my future to put my box of bolts together, I'd love to snap that up!
I just ran a survey with a group of my wife's friends - 45% of them have been given a moving citation in the last 18 months. Dear Lord they're heavy footed in contrast to the statistical average.
Hey Gang,
If you're like me you spend half your time on this forum wondering what most of the questions posted even mean :) I'm launching a state-approved traffic school June 1 and hoping my fellow Mopar-nuts can help me by doing a quick survey to better understand how people think about this...
Wow, you've been a great help on two threads for me today. Thanks! I had the center holes plugged and repainted already. Now I'm going to have them simply cut new holes for the clips and trim I have.
Do these projects ever end? Really?
