73 Dart Sport Dash Panels removal.

I does in the sense that you can look down through the exposed slots in the top of the dash and see where many of the fasteners are hiding. You may even be able to reach some of the with the right tools.

73 Dart Sport Dash Panels removal.

There’s no easy way to do this job. I had the windshield out and the dash rocked aft on the lower mount bolts for easier access and still carved up my hands and arms reaching the nuts. If you’re planning to reuse the panels those plastic studs break off at the slightest provocation. Without...

My 75 Finally Gets The Attention It Deserves(This Could Take a While)

I finished sanding down the right side of the body this weekend and found another problem. I can't find any off the shelf patch panels for this area so hopefully something can be fabricated without too much trouble. I'd really like these repairs to be done properly so that they don't need to be...

    NEW Road House Movie.

I thought Hailee Steinfeld did a fantastic job with her character and wasn’t obnoxiously stilted in her lines the way the previous actress had been in the original. So as much as I like watching a good John Wayne movie I prefer this remake to the original. The only real complaint I have is with...

My 75 Finally Gets The Attention It Deserves(This Could Take a While)

That's exactly what I was thinking as they explained the process to me. I know there are other shops out there that redo the dash pads and I can buy one they have on the shelf and send my steel core in for a discount, or I believe some of those shops will rebuild a proper pad around my core. I...

My 75 Finally Gets The Attention It Deserves(This Could Take a While)

I was out in California for my nephew's wedding this past week and stopped by Just Dashes in Van Nuys to see what they could do for my Duster. I'm glad I did because I learned something critical about their dash pad repair process. They try to replicate the original shape of a dash pad based on...

My 75 Finally Gets The Attention It Deserves(This Could Take a While)

There's no denying this was a really fun car to drive, which is why I held on to it. I always imagined I'd get it back on the road at some point, I just didn't realize I'd be sixty by then.

I’m not sure how I could determine the build date. The drivers door data tag has only blank spaces where the info should appear. I had a wood grain instrument bezel originally, my parking lights are clear, and I have a hand operated parking brake.

My 75 Finally Gets The Attention It Deserves(This Could Take a While)

My Duster has a 76 model year instrument bezel. My original was badly warped by the heat of the central Texas summertime sun. When I ordered a new one from the Dodge dealership in Glendale to replace it that's what they gave me, and to be honest I liked it much better than the wood grain...

My 75 Finally Gets The Attention It Deserves(This Could Take a While)

I got the dash out today so that it can be restored while the car is in the body shop. What a nightmare. My car clearly doesn't like me reaching up under her skirts as she's bitten the hell out me in the process. I'll survive, but my forearms and hands are nicely carved up and bloody from the...

    Ignition problem

My 318 did this for several months before it died completely. A timing light showed the timing mark jumping around which left my dad scratching his head wondering what would cause that. The answer wasn’t long in coming. My engine had nylon teeth molded onto the timing gear. Either the teeth had...

    Ignition problem

Are you saying that it will crank endlessly until you back the key off to the run position, and then it finally starts?
