We are looking for a 1962 Dart, Coronet Convertible. Would like one that is not in perfect condition. White interior is a plus. Slant 6, V-8 or no engine would work. We are located in Indiana so the closer the better.
Where is the best place to get or order one from? Also, when you say the correct cable, you are referring to the V8 cable....should I also look at the extension?

As you can see from the photos below there is a area at the bottom that needs carpet. If I just put carpet at the bottom it would be loose and sloppy looking. What solutions are available to fix this problem. I want it to be as show quality as possible. Thinking out side the box is good.
I now have a problem that I need help with, my console looks a little off center, and how do I fix the carpet area below the console. I don't want to just have the carpet hang there.
I started this a few months ago and have had a lot of twist and turns along the way. So, you let me know what you think. This is my first restore,...........
Thanks for the help, will have to start posting pics. Car is coming out of paint Tuesday! All rust is GONE!
318 is ready to go in!
LOL! Sooooon! I will start on the new (OLD) engine. I have a 400 block and will need to locate a 440 crank.
I putting in a console into my 72 Duster, I have been working hard on trying to find some simple instructions or even photos of the mounts. Can anyone give me some help.
I had a friend tell me about a 72 Cuda that was in a junk yard near here, He thinks that the rear end is still under it. I found a rear end in a 70 Hemi Charger in the same junk yard and felt sorry for the car, valve covers were not there and the car was rust totally away (no trany).
I will...
