LA Oiling Question
It is a used engine I pulled from a 1990 D250 . There is no hole in bolt holding cam plate and it is the plate that was in that engine and those plugs. LA Oiling Question
This type of plate I have in my 1990 360 and the gallery plug has small hole in it just shy of .040 , I don't have a smaller drill bit.- Valiantlord

Nice article , I just read your "How To" about front of block. I am building a 1990 model year 360 and I found on the old front gallery plugs one has a hole in it and it has a different cam plate than what you have in your article. So I will add my two cents. Torque converter weight conundrum!
This is an old thread But by rule the drain plug goes opposite side of the small hole in the flex plate. If no drain plug , using the flex plate as guide to track which quarter of converter to put weights.- Valiantlord

302 casting swirl port heads
I m having an argument about the 302 heads casting . Is it really a swirl PORt ? or a fast burn chamber because of heart shape ? I ve posted a chevy "swirl port" Anyone have a picture of the stock intake port ?- Valiantlord
