he found a 318 for a good price so that is the plan. What is the best bang for the buck to make the 1977 318 run good, cam choice, milling of the heads (how much ?) he wants to preserve the original 273. I'm just trying to help him get his parts in order, so far, the clutch choices & the pilot...

the whole point is to make the 67 a tire burner when wanted--the 273 is not that, looking for cost effective ways , it doesn't have to be a 12 second 1/4 miler just a tire roaster-- he has found a cheap 318, 360's are hard to find ,any of you have one in Kansas? I do not know what his budget is...

Reviving a thread, what is needed to put a later 318 in this 67 273 4 speed car? Also he needs a back glass & good windshield close to Wichita Kansas , what are the issues since his is a 67? Thanks

My neighbor is looking for a driver a body car , he wants a v8 car 2door & prefers 67-69 cars , he does like 65-66 darts. $3.5-7k depending on condition. No nonsense approach , closer to Wichita Ks the better, but traveling for the right set-up is an option. If you have something that fits this...

66 is 1st year of a non cable shifted trans, why wouldn't any aftermarket cable work for a 904 ?
