I am updating this on May 24th. (Canada's Victoria Day) as I return home for only the second time in 18 days. I was admitted to our Royal Inland Hospital on May 7th. and have been there since - - now awaiting transfer to Kelowna General Hospital for heart surgery. I suppose a clean life of no smoking, drinking, caffeine or non-prescription stuff has not benefitted me. My soon to be 17 year old daughter has been a 'rock' thru all this and a source of optimism. Wish me luck and stay safe.

Updated July 20 - Returned home J-15 after another (17 day) stint in hospital. Feeling better than I have in couple months but still issues with 'meds' - particularly water retention in feet. Able to do light chores and thoughts turn to Signet and Swinger.

Updated July 30 - Yet another hospital visit. This time H.R. up to 130 and would not come down. Spent about 5 hours in E.R. and was medicated and 'shocked' after first 3 hours. Stabilized enough to go home and now (Aug. 21) up to 22 days with no significant issues. Far from perfect but feel okay. More tests to do next week and can only take a day at a time.
