Does the pump need to be running for the sensors to read?
When you say your wp has places for fitting both sides are you referring to me needing to run 2 sensors?
I've been looking for ages and unable to find to find a top that an and will accommodate a t-stat that why I was asking if it OK...

I am looking at fitting an electric water pump and after some advice.
The engine is a high comp (14/1 ratio) 493ci big block (Fully forged, trick flow heads, holley sniper efi system) that will only be used on the stripe.
Is a electric pump needed or will a high flow mechanism pump...
Currently building a 493 stroked 440 and estimate will put out between 650-750bhp.
I'm running a complete standard 727 currently with a csr shield. Will have a fti torque converter with 3800 stall rate with 440 source sfi flex plate. Car will be street strip use.
I'm wounding what power a 727...
I'm currently building a 493 big block with trick flow heads. I have spoken to trick flow they have recommended stall rate between 3 and 3.5k. I am looking at fti Sr series. Would I be best of with 3-3.2k or 3.4-3.6k stall.
My tyre size is 245/60D15

Spoke to previous owner of the pistons other day and when he brought the engine that piston were in they had indy s.r heads on. I've googled indy s.r heads and they had 75cc combustion Chambers so am I right in thinking I will be ok with trick flow 240 heads as they are 78cc C.C
Thanks Garrett I have messaged them last night so waiting for reply from them but they out the office till Monday. I have tracked down the guy who originally ordered them so hopefully they maybe able to help.
