Does anybody know why the tc would be stuck or if it may have damaged anything? Or will I be able to get it unstuck then position it correctly and put the thing back in?

I installed a A904 tranny in my dart over the weekend. Car won't move in any gear after install ( fluid is full) making a whining noise when in park. A friend told me I probably didn't have the torque converter in all the way. I pulled the tranny back out only to discover that now the tc will...

I would say that reverse doesn't feel right. Delayed, weak would be a good way to put it.

No it did not. I adjusted the shifter linkage too. It was way off. I thought that may solve the problem. Idk if the combo of those two things ruined the tranny. Running out of ideas

It's a 68 two door sedan dart

The car has stock small bolt pattern rims. I wanted to know if I should just stick with the stock tire size or go with something different? Brand preference? The car is going to be a everyday driver

I adjusted the linkage so when it's floored it's open all the way. It wasn't before.

I will try adjusting the linkage next. It is definitely out of wack, tranny fluid looks new

Reverse works fine

Car has this hurst slap shifter in it. It seems like it's not right (the gears don't line up properly) could this be part of the problem?
