Dodge Avenger Reviews

I do not own one, however I did drive a friends. I honestly felt like it was a Charger want-to-be. The overall performance and handling did not impress me enough to want to save the $ and go with an Avenger over a Charger.

Which engine are you looking at? You can get the same incentives on both the Avenger and the Charger and the extra 4 mpg ( if you are goin 2.7 Avenger vs. 3.5 Charger ) don't really seem worth it to me, but that is just my opion...

I could honestly say that, if I were looking for a 4 door commuter I'd either go with the Intrepid ( not the 2.7 unless they have already rebuilt it) or a nice older slant six 4 door dart. I had a 3.2 Intrepid that I could get 28-20 MPG highway in, and they are nice cars. It would also be pretty sweet if you had a nice 4 door dart as your daily driver...

Just my 2 cents though...
