Something that just somehow, always makes me sad

I imagine a lotta cars get crushed out of heat of the moment frustration, or I`ll teach that POS and crush it! For instance---- I got a call from my Mom the other day telling me that dear old Dad done wrecked his truck and was going to tell the rollback guy to just haul it to the yard. After I found out he was ok I asked her how bad was it? I convinced her to tell him to just have it dropped off @ their property. Went up to look at it, the L front tire/spindle/shaft,etc. was ripped off,"4wd" fender wrinkled, and just caught the door front edge and rolled it back a little. The front grill etc. untouched. Should it been scrapped? Although the engine was tired it still ran and they depended on it if ever bad snow etc. "they live on the mountain". He bought this truck new in 90, GMC chatanooga custom, very sharp truck and body is in great shape considering. Hell he could probably sell the wheels for what the yard would of given him. moral/ cooler minds prevail8) I guess I hated to see it go, truck in background
