A/B Body 4 speed inside differences?

I seem to remember that the gear ratios were different between the various body styles, probably based on weight/power ratio.

Just checked my 1968 factory service manual...

Gear ratios for 833...

1st...2.66
2nd...1.91
3rd...1.39
4th...1.00
Reverse...2.58

There is no mention of different 833 gear ratios in 1968 for various vehicles.
