need help on a tire size

im trying to figure this out.

previous combo: 235/60/15 front, 275/60.15 rear.

ive upgraded to 17 inch wheels. theyre 8 inches wide. id like to stuff as much meat under as possible with good wear characteristics.

my previous tire heighet was about right, but id like to go around 1/2 to one inch shorter front, and 1-2 inches shorter on the rear for a little more clearance.

ive now spent a few hours on the tire rack, typing in random sizes, and cant seem to find a good combo. can anyone help? once i figure out the theoretical sizes, ill buy some used ones o make sure. then ill buy some good ones.
