Anybody running 17" Cobra Bullit rims on a Duster
A 1" spacer would be a good fit with an A-body 8.25 in the back. I don't know if an A-body 8.75 would work, I never tried one personally. Here's a shot of a 17x8 +30mm wheel with a 255/45 mounted, pushed as far in as you can go - tire touching spring in the stock location:
Same tire & wheel, with a 1" spacer installed:
That's about 1/2" there, more than you probably need with a stiff sidewall tire.
YMMV, but that's what I got... With my current 65-67 B-body rear, I have a little too much rear clearance, over an inch. I need a little narrower rear to take full advantage of the stock wheel well on my Valiant.
