Ridge or no ridge deck lid?

I own a 71 Demon that has very few things original about it. It's a red car and when I bought it it had a green trunk lid with the ridge down the center.

My buddy's 71 Demon has a trunk lid with no ridge (flat), so when I found a trunk lid with no ridge in the junkyard I bought it.

Now I know this is a minor thing, and I have researched and found 71 Demons with either type. Usually earlier Demons/Duster have no ridge and later ones come with the ridge.

As I've been staring at the deck lids, I'm starting to think that I like the ridge.

Since nothing is original what would be your choice?
