If you dont have the compression needed to run the higher octane dont run it. I dont think you will see any diffrence you will be mostly just wasting your money. Premium 91 -93 octane pump gas is plenty for a 9.5-1 engine. Just cause you bump up the octane doesnt mean you will run quicker. I think you may have a little to much carb for your engine also.

after the race I was thinking about going to a 650 or 750 eddy. I have a 850 now that was tuned at a shop and cost major cash to dial in. its waaaaay better now just a little ping at low rpm and load but at WOT its awesome. The speed shop here also want to put edelbrock rpm heads on the mottor stiffer springs and they promise 30 more hp to wheels to bring me 305hp and 320 trq. the price tag will be 2800.00. to much for me !
